About the Association
Founded in 1949, St Cuthbert’s Association is the alumni organisation of St Cuthbert’s Society, University of Durham. It promotes communication and contact between its members – former Cuthbertsmen, and St Cuthbert’s Society.
When you join St Cuthbert’s Society, you are a member for life. The Association allows former Cuthbertsmen to continue to play a role in Cuth’s life and help shape the future of our unique and cherished insitution.
The Association aims to:
- keep alumni up to date with St Cuthbert’s Society and University of Durham news;
- help alumni keep in touch with friends they made while at St Cuthbert’s;
- provide help and assistance to alumni whenever possible;
- organise reunion events, dinners, sports and a varied social calendar for alumni;
- to fundraise and provide financial support to the Junior Common Room and members of St Cuthbert’s Society; and
- act as guardian of St Cuthbert’s Society, ensuring its heritage is respected and its future protected.
